Nordic Travel

Negative experience: We booked an independent 12 day tour of Norway including Lofoten Islands. Communication was very poor, as we were booked in several rooms with twin beds & evening meals provided (not on itinerary & weren’t advised about it, so not sure who paid for the evening meals). We were booked on 3 trains trips with backward facing seats & one with no outside viewing available (photo attached), It shows Alesund on itinerary but wasn’t included in tour. We thought we were staying in a fisherman's CABIN (stand alone) on Lofoten Island, we stayed in unit type accommodation which included 2 very narrow single beds, the only items available for drinks (tea/coffee) were a couple of each of flavoured teabags/coffee sachets/sugar, no milk, coffee machine with no coffee provided only paper filter bags. Weren’t advised that we needed to go to a restaurant to obtain keys to cabin on Lofoten Islands. We arrived late at night so lucky that restaurant was still open. Breakfast was included each day, unfortunately wasn’t able to have breakfast when leaving Bodo due to train scheduled time.
