Negative experience: The beauty of working remotely. Very interesting experience. My boss requested that I call this company in an effort to organise some collaboration. The call was taken by a woman who was, perhaps, in the toilet. Who knows. I could barely hear her. I heard footsteps, doors open and close and finally I was hung up upon. A great experience and a company worthy of collaboration with my 5 star tour business that I work for.

Negative experience: I understand that travel agents jump on fees for their service, but I was charged $880 for a hotel transfer from a hotel to airport. For your reference it was a one way trip of 110km. I was unable to shop around due to remote area I was visiting. I questioned the price and it was confirmed. After a chat with a guest at the lodge, they told me of the same flight change. He volunteered info that he paid $330 for private transfer by the same lodge. I’ve queried A&K again as to why I was charged $880… no response. Watch yourself because they have no problem to over inflate price and enjoy a 100% profit. Would not recommend them for this reason. Disappointed by the rip off or lack of rectification and follow up after 4 weeks. Cmon guys, a >100% profit mark up for a airport change transfer that was sprung on me in the final days?

Fantastic experience: A&K are super organised, thorough, and customer focused. They organised a safari in Kenya and were so helpful every step of the way. Their partner camps that we stayed at were fantastic, with great hosts. I'd highly recommend using A&K for your next packaged trip!

Negative experience: We booked a villa in Provence through Abercrombie and Kent in July 2019. We were dreadfully disappointed and the response from A & K when we complained was pathetic. The villa was called Le Mas CoCo and it read like a dream. The photos were fantastic but in reality it was a dump. Firstly we were given GP co-ordinates that took us to another country and the directions took us 3 kilometers from the property. After a very long drive and 40 degree day we were not happy. We trusted that if we booked with A & K we would have a 5 star experience. No duvet covers on the duvets, no towels, we had to find some threadbare towels in the laundry. A bucket of dirty water in the kitchen sink.Spider webs everywhere and a dormitory bedroom which was appalling and overstuffed with furniture. 3 fountains in the garden which were broken and green. A gym where all the equipment was broken. The redeeming feature was the pool which was beautiful as was some of the garden. If you want a 5 star experience this is not the villa for you.
