Fantastic experience: Gab and the team at Travel Associates Shellharbour were absolutely amazing when we recently had to re-route all our flights and change our accommodation plans. Then when we hit an unexpected hiccup on the way back home, Gab went out of her way to help us rebook new flights. We are so glad we chose Travel Associates as our booking agent and would highly recommend their services to anyone who wants that extra peace of mind and service.

Fantastic experience: I am fortunate to have a Travel Associates team locally in Shellharbour. And what a brilliant team they are. At this point in time I am in Italy and arrived here less than 5 days ago. Gabrielle Wells, my travel consultant, has been absolutely incredible getting me here as I was originally meant to be flying via Doha, which of course is impossible at the moment due to the war in the middle east. She is also organising an alternative route home for me. Hours and hours of extra work all on my behalf. She also organised all the travel arrangements for my varios trips in Italy. I could not recommend Travel Associates in Shellharbour highly enough! Everyone in the office is kind, helpful and welcoming. Fantastic experience: Kim, Mel, Jacqui and Kate were amazing recently when I was caught up in the aftermath of a hurricane in Houston. All hotels were closed in a vast area due to blackouts and emergency services takeovers. I had nowhere to sleep, no food, no wifi, no air con, unreliable phone signal, no transport. Travel Associates managed to find me a beautiful, safe place to stay for 3 days, after many hours of work. Thank you all for your incredible efforts. Lorraine Hewlett.

Fantastic experience: A big thank you to Alissa for her help in arranging flights and accommodation in Hawaii. The flights were at a terrific price and timing for us. Fantastic experience: I can't praise Gab Wells from Travel Associates Shellharbour highly enough. I was on my way to the airport to take a flight to the US to attend my son's wedding. In transit , thankfully not far from home I received a message from the airline saying my flight was cancelled. I was terrified I wouldn't make it to the wedding so we turned back and went straight to Travel Associates Shellharbour where Gab very kindly and efficiently found a new flight for me, checked me in and basically saved the day. She helped me with a completely new booking and organised all the new paperwork plus gave me contact numbers I could use while I was away if I needed any assistance. I was so impressed with her knowledge and professionalism. I can't thank Gab enough and In future I will be visiting her for all my travel needs.

Fantastic experience: I have Melissa as my Travel Agent in Travel Associates. My situation is a little different from many of her clients as I am a traveller in a wheelchair and also cerebral palsy. This means I usually require additional assistance to leave Australia and get to my destination. I travel with my husband and Mel goes above and beyond to ensure that all i’s are dotted and the t’s are crossed to create the best outcome for any holiday we enjoy on foreign soil. After our original plans were disrupted by last year’s typhoon, Melissa quickly and efficiently rearranged everything for us without any hassle. Fantastic experience: My daughter and I mostly travel together. It's not particularly easy dealing with our diverse wants and needs. Our experience with Melissa Gray from Travel Associates has proven to be one of little stress. Melissa is friendly, knowledgeable with a twist of humour while maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity. It concerns me the amount of time spent outside her actual working hours organising hotels, transfers on the other side of the world at odd times. Negative experience: I had a White Christmas tour in Europe (booked through Melissa). I had a lot of hiccups on the tour, from the first day of finding out my accommodation was not available to the last day when my purse and passport was stolen. I got through it all and managed to have a great holiday - without the help of my travel consultant. Though I understand completely that Melissa had personal reasons she could not help, I thought one of the other staff would step in. After the first day I didn’t even try for help through the company. I would not recommend their service.

Fantastic experience: Elle Patrikis has been booking my elderly fathers travels for some time now and his rave reviews have seen the entire family be looked after by her even though we are spread far 'n wide across Australia. All the little details are taken care of, our loyalty rewarded by the extras she organises and sweet touches such as a birthday card he received earlier this month drew me to write this review. This is truly service the old-fashioned way! I value Elle's expertise, her suggestions have improved our holiday experiences and we wouldn't go anywhere else.

Carly is very professional in what she does. Nothing is to much trouble or a hassle to do for us. Would highly recommend her and Travel Associates.

Fantastic experience: This is all about Maddi Roberts. I first experienced Maddi's very capable professionalism and warm personality in her previous travel agency. So when we re-connected, quite by chance, a couple of months ago, I was very happy to explore a trip I had started planning for the coming Christmas / New Year period. For me, it's always about Europe and central-ish Europe in particular, so this time it's my 1st visit to Budapest, Christmas in Berlin and New Year's in Milan. I'm assuming you know -- because travel agents most certainly do!! -- that it is possible, with maybe the odd stumble, to organise everything by yourself via the internet (mind you, when you do, you get to appreciate what travel agents can do for you!). However, I don't recommend doing it entirely by yourself if it's a trip across multiple countries and complex logistics, as in my case. Especially(!!) when your itinerary is unique, as mine tend to be. Maddi and I are in the final stages of organising this trip and while I encourage you to be actively involved in the planning and organising, I can tell you beyond doubt that there are ways of doing things and possibilities you cannot know about because you aren't in the travel industry. And then, because of how travel agents have to work (sometimes a bit restrictive), you may well find possibilities that travel agents can't see. For this trip, I got the best of both of those circumstances. I really appreciate the collaborative working relationship with Maddi, and between us -- actually, because of us -- I think that more amazing hotels with culturally richer experience possibities, could not have been discovered, booked, and locked in -- so I'm very happy! Travel Associates could not have found a better 'champion' of her profession than Maddi Roberts.

Fantastic experience: Over the years we have booked a number of holidays with Carley Hockey. Our first trip was for a group of 9 people on a road trip around Tasmania. The price was great and everything went to plan. I had previously self-organised a holiday to Europe, which involved hours of research and a couple of unpleasant experiences once we got there. Since then we have booked further trips to Europe and a group booking to Bali. We now can't ignore Carley's knowledge and experience when booking and planning holidays.

Fantastic experience: For the past 5 years we have been using Elle Patrikis as our agent on all personal and business related trips. She has been exceptional at her job and attending to all our travel needs. We have had to contact her in a number of emergency situations and she has assisted us without any issues. Would highly recommend Elle and her team at Travel Associates.
